Description

Cox's Bazar sea beach is the longest beach in the world and is considered the biggest tourist attraction in the country. Located in Chittagong District, Cox's Bazar is situated alongside the beach of the Bay of Bengal, beside the Indian Ocean. The long unbroken 120km golden sand beach with towering cliffs, surfing waves, rare conch shells, colorful pagodas, Buddhist temples, local people, premium accommodation facilities and mouth-watering seafoodall make Cox's Bazar the tourist capital of Bangladesh. There are plenty of things to do in here than any other traditional sea beach. The entire 120 km beach can be traveled without any pause by a motorbike. The more one gets to the south, the more the ocean water becomes blue.

How To Reach

About 150 km south of Chittagong, Cox's Bazar is connected well by both air and road from Dhaka and Chittagong.
From Chittagong, it takes 4.5 h to reach Cox's Bazar by road.

Best Time to Visit

The time from October to December is observed as the peak season for visiting Cox's Bazar as it offers a cool and a pleasant weather with moderate humidity. Months of April, May and June are the warmest here.

Try the water sports activities like parasailing, jet skiing, parachuting etc.
Relax and leisure at the charming cafes and restaurants by the beach. You can also do some souvenir shopping from the beachside stalls.
