Description

Bara Mangwa is located in the Darjeeling District and is positioned towards the western side of Kalimpong Hills. This remote retreat is decorated with farms, terraced fields, tea gardens, orange orchards and local huts. It is a virgin eco-friendly destination, the attractiveness of which soars high all the more with the view of Teesta River and the snow-clad Kanchenjunga at a distance.

How To Reach

Distance: 615km from Kolkata.
Time: 10 hours by train and 50 min by flight from Kolkata to NJP and Bagdogra respectively. From both Bagdogra and NJP, it takes around 2 hours to reach the destination of Bara Mangwa by car.
