Description

Sittong, the charming village is known as the Orange Village among the locals. The village lies in the lap of hills amidst the waterfalls, beautiful lakes and the echoing green landscapes. Sittong is situated in the Kurseong division in Darjeeling District. This place has much more to offer apart from the abundance of oranges. Nature is at its pristine best here. This destination is also a hotspot due to the visit of the Nobel Laureate Rabindranath Tagore.

How To Reach

Distance: 580km from Kolkata.
Time: 10 hours by train and 50 min by flight from Kolkata to NJP and Bagdogra respectively. From both Bagdogra and NJP, it takes around 1.5 hours to reach the destination of Chota Mangwa by car.
