Ganpatipule is a beach town in Ratnagiri District on the Konkan coastline. It is famous for temples of Lord Ganesha. Ganpatipule has a long stretch of pristine beaches and is an idyllic getaway in the lap of nature.One can also witness the confluence of beach with river along with a hill shaped like Ganpati, the Hindu God. The village of Ganapatipule is famous for its 400-year-old Ganesha temple. The idol is a self-created monolith of Lord Ganesha, allegedly discovered 1600 years ago. Untouched by commercialism Ganapatipule makes for a great destination for peace-seekers, beach lovers and pilgrim alike. Ganpatipule also offers interesting water sports for the tourists.

How To Reach

Nearest airport to Ganpatipule is in Pune. One can also take a flight to Mumbai and then take a car to reach Ganpatipule. The drive usually takes around 6 to 7h from both Mumbai and Pune.
The nearest railhead to Ganpatipule is in Ratnagiri. Ganpatipule is well connected with other major cities of India via good network of roadways.
