How To Reach

Tawang is around 460km from LokpriyaGopinathBordoloi International Airport, which takes a long drive of 16h. It is suggested to take a break at either Bomdila or Dirang in between. Both Bomdila and Dirang are around 4h to 5h away from Tawang.

Best Time to Visit

The best season to visit Tawang is the summers season and onset of monsoon season. The temperature remains comfortable, cool, and apt for sightseeing. The best months to visit are March, April, May, June, September and October. Winters turn Tawang into a frigid zone.
