Description

Ranchi is the capital city of the state of Jharkhand near Subarnarekha River. Ranchi is known also as the 'city of waterfalls' due to many waterfalls it has amidst the lush green valleys and hills. Ranchi is situated on the Ranchi Plateau of the eastern Chota Nagpur plateau system, with lofty flat-topped hills in the northwest. Along with the picturesque backdrop, Ranchi is famous for beautiful historical monuments, rich mineral deposits and mining industries. Ranchi, now a well-industrialized city is slowly turning into a metropolitan one.
