How To Reach

Pune airport is the nearest airport to Mahabaleshwar located at a distance of 135km which takes around 3.5 h to reach.
Mahabaleshwar is well connected by Mumbai-Pune highway, and therefore one can take a flight to Mumbai or Pune and reach Mahabaleshwar via road.
Mahabaleshwar also has a railway station located at a distance of 60km at Wathar.

Best Time to Visit

Mahabaleshwar experiences a moderate climate all throughout the year, so it can be visited during any time of the year. However, October to March is the best time to visit this hill station as the temperature drops and is pleasant during the daytimeespecially to explore the surrounding areas. Nights are colder in winter months.
