Takdah is a dreamy and a sleepy village shrouded with mist where the sun and the clouds play hide and seek. The added features of foggy trails, blooming orchards and the majestic Kanchenjunga makes Takdah all the more appealing. It is located 28km away from Darjeeling. Takdah or 'Takduh' means fog and we know how the name justifies the destination. Takdah earlier was a British cantonment area and it still holds some of its old charm and aura.
