Description

With the beautiful Pench River flowing through the green surroundings and a wide variety of wildlife to be spotted in the rocky terrains, Pench National Park served as an inspiration for the famous novel 'The Jungle Book' by Rudyard Kipling. Pench is one of the most popular national parks in the Central India loaded with various flora and fauna.The magnificent river amidst the greeneries create a peaceful environment and the many possibilities of seeing the various flora and fauna, some of which are endangered ones, create a sense of lasting impression in one's mind.

How To Reach

The Sonegaon airport in Nagpur is 93 km from the Pench National Park. There are regular flights connecting Nagpur to all other major cities in India. From there, by car it takes around 2h to reach the National Park by car.
Pench is well connected by road from other cities of India.
The nearest railway station, Seoni Railway Station is around 30km away.

Best Time to Visit

February to June is the best time visit Pench National Park. The chances of spotting animals increases during the summers as they go out into the open more often to drink water. October to February is also a good time, as the weather remains very pleasant.
