Description

Tucked in the far edge of Eastern Himalayas, 15km from Lolegaon is a small valley where the nature has left all its wealth in the solitary land called Charkhole. Charkhole or Charkhol is popularly known as Charkhol Lolegaon. It is a small Lepcha Village overlooking the luscious green valley fringed with forest of pine, birch, oaks, cypress, sal and rhododendrons with a backdrop view of stunning Mt. Kanchenjunga. Recently, Charkhole has become the newest favored destination on the travelers' list.

How To Reach

Distance: 630km from Kolkata.
Time: 10 hours by train and 50 min by flight from Kolkata to NJP and Bagdogra respectively. From there, it takes 2 hours to reach Charkhole by car.
