Temi Tea Garden is located 18km away from Ravangla and is popular for village tourism. Temi Tea plants grow along the slopes of hills emerging from Tendong Hills. Other nearby surrounding villages such as Borong village, Narsing village and Kewzip village offer a blend of culture and traditions here. Temi Tea Garden is the only Tea Estate in the mountainous state of Sikkim. The beauty of the dominating view of Kanchenjunga and the Tea Estate will leave you speechless.
When cherry blossoms bloom in November, it marks the time of the Cherry Tea Festival which aims at promoting the natural beauty of cherry blossoms, cardamom plantations and organic tea produced at the famous Temi Tea Estate.

Distance: 665km from Kolkata.
Time: From Pakyong Airport, it takes 2.5 hours to reach Temi Tea Garden.
You can also take a train to NJP and flight to Bagdogra Airport from Kolkata. From NJP, Bagdogra and Siliguri, it takes 4.5 hours to reach Temi Tea Garden by car.

Best Time to Visit

March-May is a great time to visit Temi Tea Estate. The weather is quite pleasant and the place is ornamented with rich fields of orchids and rhododendrons.
Early winter time, cherry blossoms bloom by the side of road and make the pathways and roadways look embellished.
